ChariTTRPGs team fundraiser for Los Angeles wildfire emergency response
Announcing a team fundraiser on tiltify to support Project HOPE’s Los Angeles wildfire emergency response
Project HOPE’s Los Angeles Wildfires response
Starting Tuesday, January 7, multiple deadly wildfires have spread across Los Angeles. Hundreds of thousands have been ordered to evacuate with hundreds of thousands facing evacuation warnings. Project HOPE is providing PPE, hygiene kits, bedding supplies, mental health care, and other aid to shelters, health workers, marginalized communities, and first responders. They’re also helping clinics with surge staffing to alleviate the pressure on evacuated health workers, and supporting emergency logistics and debris clearance for search, rescue and recovery.
ChariTTRPGs fundraiser
Thus far, the support from the tabletop community has been tremendous, since Saturday evening, over 70 creators have joined to donate their time, talent, and items to help the fundraising efforts.
We are looking for tabletop items to list as direct donations like board games, magic packs, dice, dice trays, character art, etc. These items will be listed on in this tiltify campaign. If you would be willing to donate and item, please respond to this email with the following information:
Item/s to be donated
Short description of item for listing (500-character limit)
Fair market value of item
Photo of item
Unfortunately, we are not accepting TTRPGs through itch.io at this time, but there is a California Fire Relief Bundle being formed right now.
If you would like additional information on the ChariTTRPGs team fundraiser, please join the ChariTTRPGs discord where charity streams are being formed.
As a reminder, we are accepting RPG submissions from January 10 - February 9 at the RPGs for Accessible Gaming Gam Jam. All RPGs and supplements submitted will be turned into a charity bundle on itch.io to be sold for a minimum donation of $10 from February 17 - March 17. The fundraising goal of $30,000 would cover the initial cost of production for the sets of d4s, d6s, d8s, and d10s which would then become self-sustaining.
That concludes our updates for now. Stay safe and do what you can to help those in need.
With love and a forehead kiss,
Jes
